Start Your Kids Engine was established in 2007 to meet the needs of parents and caregivers of young children. Kilee Christnagel has been teaching early childhood children and families through the public schools for over 10 years. Through this experience, Kilee has developed specific seminars and workshops to assist parents and caregivers in starting their kids’ engine.

What does it mean to “start your kids engine?” As a teacher and parent Kilee believes this to mean:

• planting seeds
• understanding and valuing the process (more than the product)
• creating pathways (moving a child from where they are at to the next level)
• deliberate demonstration of problem solving skills and flexible thinking
• experiential learning
• developing the whole child
• teaching physical and mental organization
• building on a solid vocabulary base.

Parenting seminars and staff development workshops are fun, interactive and hands-on. Each seminar and workshop is designed to meet the needs of the audience.
